What is a Defect Notice?

You may have been issued a defect notice. This means the electrical installation at your property has been identified as unsafe or non-compliant and requires rectification. To resolve this, you will need to engage a licensed electrician to carry out the required repairs.

What You Need to Do

1. 1. Arrange for a licensed electrician to complete the required repairs.
   2. Obtain a completed Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) from your electrician.
   3. Email the completed certificate to: JEN-CoES@jemena.com.au
