2. Leave

If you suspect a leak, remove or turn off ignition sources and leave the area immediately. Don't smoke or use your phone, and be sure to put out any naked flames.

3. Report it

Report the potential leak online, or call us on 131909 any time of day, 7 days a week.

Whether you need installation, servicing, or a safety check, it’s important to use a licensed gas professional. Use our tool to find qualified gas specialists in your area who can safely install, inspect or maintain your appliances.

Before You Dig Information

If you have planned building, landscaping or excavation activity around your home or property, contact Before You Dig Australia at least two working days before you start to locate underground utilities, including gas pipes. You can call between 8:00am–5:00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday, or use their website.
