Emergency Backstop Mechanism
Solar PV Outages
This page contains a list of events experienced or planned to occur by the Jemena Electricity Network (JEN). These events include:

Digital system unplanned outages - utility server and/or any other related digital system outages that prevent new and/or replaced inverter commissioning test as part of the JEN connection process;

New and/or replaced inverter testing which is the commissioning testing as part of the JEN connection process;

Annual testing initiated by JEN to ensure that the backstop capability of solar PVs remain active and functional; and
-
Emergency Minimum System Load (MSL) Event triggered under the direction of the Australian Energy Market Operator AEMO.
