What You Need to Know
Before Jemena can connect your property to the gas network for a Path Valve – Boundary Service New Connection, your licensed plumber must complete and submit the online digital form for leak test via MyPortal. This confirms that your gas installation is safe, compliant with regulations, and meets the requirements outlined in Jemena’s Network Operator Rules.
Why This Is Important
Jemena cannot connect or reconnect your gas supply until a valid Leak Test Notice has been received. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety of your household, your property, and the wider community. It is a legal obligation under the Gas Supply Regulation and forms part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable gas network.
