Jemena’s General Manager, Asset Management, Sean Ward, has been appointed President of the Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA) Board for a two-year term.
Sean’s appointment was confirmed at the APGA Annual General Meeting held in Brisbane in October 2025. He now leads a diverse and experienced Board committed to advancing Australia’s pipeline and gas infrastructure.
With nearly 30 years of leadership in the Australian energy sector, Sean brings deep expertise across gas, electricity, pipelines, asset management, and project delivery. A Chemical Engineer by training, Sean has been a key contributor at Jemena for more than two decades, helping shape our business and contributing significantly to the broader energy industry.
Sean is a passionate advocate for innovation and collaboration across the sector and actively contributes to industry forums and boards, including the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
