Jemena’s Executive General Manager Electricity Networks to Step Down 

Jemena Executive General Manager Electricity Networks, Shaun Reardon, has announced his decision to step down from his role.

Shaun joined the organisation in 1996 and has been an Executive General Manager since 2007. As Executive General Manager, Electricity Networks, and prior to that, Executive General Manager, Networks, he was responsible for the oversight of the Group’s electricity and gas distribution businesses servicing more than two million customers.

He previously served as Executive General Manager, Customer and Markets, and has led multiple price reviews, business transformations and major projects across Jemena’s electricity and gas networks.

Jemena Managing Director David Gillespie thanked Shaun for his years of leadership and dedication to the business.

“With a new regulatory period ahead, and a strong leadership team in place, Shaun has decided this is the right moment to hand over leadership of our electricity networks business and create space for a new leader to guide our next chapter.

“During his time at Jemena, Shaun has developed very strong relationships with key industry stakeholders including government and regulators, which is a testament to his open and transparent engagement approach.

“Shaun leaves with our sincere appreciation for everything he has achieved, and I want to personally thank him for his commitment over more than three decades. Very few people have the opportunity to make such a significant and enduring contribution to an organisation,” he said.

Peter Iancov will commence as acting Executive General Manager Electricity Networks, in addition to his role as Managing Director Zinfra and Group Chief Strategy Officer. An external recruitment process will be held over the coming months. Shaun will remain with the business until 25 September 2026 to support transition arrangements.

Jemena and Zinfra are both part of the SGSPAA Group.
