Restoring Your Property After Gas Works

When Jemena carries out gas works, such as new connections, safety upgrades, or network repairs/maintenance, excavation may be required. This can temporarily affect surfaces like driveways, footpaths, lawns, or gardens. We understand this can be inconvenient and are committed to restoring all affected areas as close as possible to their original condition.

Restoration Responsibilities

Location Who is Responsible? What Happens?
Within Your Property You (the customer) Jemena will perform a temporary repair. Permanent restoration (e.g. concrete, landscaping) is your responsibility.
Outside Your Property Boundary Jemena We will complete a temporary repair and raise a restoration work order. This is sent to the relevant council or a local contractor for permanent restoration.
