Once you’ve accepted your connection offer via our online portal and your request reaches ‘works’ status, you’ll need to submit a Meter Kit Order form. The meter centre will then confirm via email when the meter kit is ready for collection from your nearest suitable warehouse location.
Once the meter kit (the meter bar and regulator) has been collected and installed by your plumber, you can book an appointment via our Meter Delivery Appointment form to arrange a metering technician to visit your site, confirm the installation is compliant, and deliver the meter*.
*Please note, the gas service connection must be completed before the meter delivery appointment can be booked and your plumber must supply a certificate of compliance for each meter to be installed. Information on gas fitting compliance can be found on the NSW Department of Fair-Trading website.
If you have an existing gas connection and want to change your appliances, your plumber may determine that a regulator upgrade is required (from a 1.38kpa black cap regulator to a 2.75kpa white cap regulator). Make sure you have your plumber’s info handy to lodge a request via the Domestic Regulator Upgrade form.
The warehouse servicing the Sydney Metro area is located at 14 Donald St, Old Guildford, NSW, 2161. Ensure you’ve recieved confirmation that your meter kit is ready to collect prior to attending the warehouse.
Please note that other centres including Tuggerah, Cardiff, Wollongong and regional NSW locations require advance notice prior to attending, which we’ll advise when we send your order confirmation.
