• Multinet is the largest distributor of natural gas in Victoria and serves connections in Melbourne's inner and outer eastern and south eastern suburbs.
• The distribution network transports gas from the high-pressure transmission network operated by GasNet Australia Trust to the premises of residential, commercial and industrial gas users.
• The 9,413 km gas distribution network covers and area of 1,603 km².
• Multinet Gas services 646,600 connections.
• At 30 June 2006 the load was 59.1 PJ.
