Proposed Revised Access Arrangement for 2010-15

Jemena Gas Networks (JGN) is currently preparing its first access arrangement (AA) revision submission for the new national Australian Energy Regulator (AER) under the National Gas Law and National Gas Rules. For more information on the consultation process please follow this link.

JGN’s AA describes its network services, its reference tariffs and its terms and conditions for the services offered.

Current Access Arrangement for 2005-10

JGN’s current AA was determined by the NSW Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) under the National Third Party Access Code for Natural Gas Pipeline Systems.

The current AA commenced on 1 July 2005 and will apply until 30 June 2010.

Jemena’s transportation services under the Access Arrangement are:

Local Network and Trunk Reference Services

  • Capacity reservation service
  • Managed capacity service
  • Throughput service
  • Multiple delivery point service
  • Tariff service
  • Meter data service
  • Gas swap service

Non Reference Services

  • Interconnection of Embedded Network Service
  • Other services to meet the needs of a User, which differ from those in a reference service.

All Users of a service are required to enter into a service agreement (Transportation Agreement) specific to that User and that Service.
