Gas Access Arrangement Review for 2010-15

On 25 August 2009, Jemena Gas Networks (JGN) submitted to the Australian Energy Regulatory (AER) its proposed revised access arrangement (AA) comprising of:

• the proposed revised AA
• the access arrangement information and related explanatory documents
• the reference service agreement terms and conditions.

The revised AA proposal describes the policies to be applied by JGN in relation to network services, reference tariffs and the proposed terms and conditions of access for the JGN distribution network for the period 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2015.

It builds upon JGN’s current AA that the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal accepted in 2005. Since that time, the Ministerial Council on Energy delivered a suite of reforms including the establishment of the AER as the new national energy regulator, the National Gas Law and National Gas Rules.
